Richie GeeRichie Gee began to play in 1999 because he was very interested in electronic music specially Techno and Hard house. His first sets were from radio stations such us Los 40 principales or Flaix fm. From there he went on to play at small events and he was invited to play in Loui Vega in Calafell. In summer 2000 he stayed few months in London where he played in a club called Telegraph in Brixton. In the same year Richie started to produce his first demos. A few months later started to collaborate on a radio program called Mundo Dj. From there he began to work as a producer on Mundo Dj. Mundo Dj was a program that evolved a lot. It started as a local program and in the end it was a national radio program broadcast from more than 30 radio transmitters, some of which was the most important stations in dance music such us Loca Fm, Track Fm, Formula Hit... His work as a producer on Mundo Dj openes further doors which led him to clubs, the most important was Piramide where he played in the main floor for more than 5000 thousands people. In 2004 Richie set up his own studio and he played again in Piramide and played again in London but this time in Trade at Turnmills. In 2006 started a new project called Madhouse Recordings. This project is formed by a promoter company and a record label. The first party of Madhouse Recordings was on 19th November 2006 since there Madhouse Recordings have done parties for up to 1800 people with artist such us Robert Natus, DJ Amok, Sandy Warez, Lenny Dee, Rude Awakening, Mat Weasel, [Invalid Artist], Hellfish, Speed Freak, The. Richie Gee has become a name not to underestimate when talking about the Spanish hard techno scene. He's been a familiar face on Catalunyan line-ups ever since he broke through as a DJ back in 2006. With national radio show hostings, such as Mundo DJ on his list, it was only a matter of time until Ricardo gained status in the rest of Europe. Richie Gee represents techno in its hardest of forms. A mixture of schranz, industrial and UK hard house elements (a souvenir from a brief period living in London), where both melody and the diverse sounds of distortion, are never out of place. Madhouse Recordings and Richie Gee have become synonymous to each-other. With over 10 releases out, the label is a blueprint of Richie Gee's musical tastes. Offering a platform to familiar and unfamiliar names, the Madhouse has achieved a status of respect in a short time. After his 2008 'Industrial Resistance' hook-up with IST, sub-label of Industrial Strength, Richie Gee's name was marked in the international scene. Beats have been speeding down the techno industrial crossing ever since. Not a surprise with weaponry like 'Toxic beats Vol. 1', 'No Rules' and the 'Mojitoman' EP to hit speakers. Behind the decks Richie Gee converts his enthusiasm for music straight onto the dance floor with Spanish passion. Like a flamenco dance in a rusted steel-mill, beats can become pretty intense when Richie Gee starts playing. Beware of your limiters when his beats set for impact! Richie Gee is a great addition to any hard techno event, with the Gee-factor culminating any techno sound into twice the intensity.
